Safety Dante Trader Jr., safety Glen Miller, wide receiver Tai Felton and wide receiver Kaden Prather were invited to the Shrine Bowl this week, the program announced today.
Felton remains one of the most productive wide receivers in the country and has dominated the Terps’ unit in 2024 as he leads the team in catches (73), receiving yards (907) and touchdowns (6), also leading the Big Ten in both catches and receiving yards. Felton, who averages over 113 receiving yards per game, is the only Big Ten receiver to average over 100 receiving yards per game.
In his second season with the program, Prather sits second on the team in catches (45) and receiving yards (487) and recorded touchdowns in consecutive games against Virginia, Villanova and Indiana. Prather led the team with 15.9 yards per reception in 2023 after being named an All-Big Ten honorable mention.
Miller, who missed the Minnesota game, leads the team in solo tackles (18) and is tied with DB Jalen Huskey for a team-high three interceptions. Miller is also one of six players to register a fumble recovery and sits sixth on the team with 27 total tackles, while he’s added 1.5 TFLs and a pair of pass breakups.
Dante Trader has worked his way back onto the field after appearing in the second half of the Minnesota loss, his first appearance since the Indiana game. The leader of the defense, Trader has registered 29 total tackles, one interception and a pair of pass breakups in six games.
OT Gottlieb Ayedze, CB Ja’Quan Sheppard, QB Taulia Tagovailoa and CB Tarheeb Still suited up in the 2024 Shrine Bowl.
