In-state pledge locks in official visit to Maryland

2026 Saint Frances (MD) three-star Damon Hall has watched his recruitment skyrocket through his junior season with a long list of Power Four schools extending offers since committing to Maryland, but the in-state prospect is set to officially visit Maryland in June.

Hall, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound tight end, is set to officially visit Maryland the weekend of June 20 with teammate and fellow Terps’ pledge Zion Elee while the staff works on blue-chip safety Jireh Edwards. New teammate, three-star cornerback Hakim Satterwhite, also previously confirmed to IBG he’s set to officially visit the same weekend.

Hall showcased himself as one of the top offensive weapons for a Panthers offense that averaged nearly 30 points per game in 2024, becoming a top option in the passing game. While South Carolina and Michigan were among the schools to offer prior to his commitment, more schools worked to change his mind and set up a visit during his junior season when Pitt, LSU, Indiana, Oregon, Florida State and West Virginia offered.

Hall announced his commitment to Maryland back in August, joining teammate and cornerback Khmari Bing as early commits in the 2026 class with assistant Aazaar Abdul-Rahim leading the way.

“It’s really been my dream school since I was very young just because it’s my hometown,” Hall told IBG back in August. “Coach Aazaar [Abdul-Rahim], I’ve been talking with him. It’s been great. I really like him as a coach. I knew once I talked to him. He really opened it up for me a lot.”

Hall is rated a three-star and ranked the 23rd-best tight end in the 2026 class, according to On3.
