Details for Maryland football’s season-finale have been announced.
Maryland will travel to fourth-ranked Penn State on Saturday, Nov. 30 for a 3:30 PM kickoff. The game will air on the Big Ten Network.
After Maryland defeated Penn State in Happy Valley in the COVID-shortened 2020 season, the Terps have been outscored 112-29 by Penn State over the last three games. The Nittany Lions also dominated Maryland in Mike Locksley’s first season in a 59-0 loss.
Penn State’s lone loss of the season came at home vs. Ohio State back on Nov. 2 with their playoff aspirations alive. The Nittany Lions moved to 9-1 (6-1) after defeating Purdue, 49-10, in West Lafayette over the weekend. Penn State will travel to Minnesota this upcoming weekend before hosting Maryland.
Maryland, meanwhile, will host Iowa as the Hawkeyes battle quarterback injuries heading into Saturday. The betting line has shifted one point in favor of the Hawkeyes as Iowa is now a 6.5-point favorite, per DraftKings, as of Monday afternoon.
Maryland is looking to avoid their first four-win season since DJ Durkin’s last full season as head coach in 2017.
