Maryland commits, targets set to suit up in Under Armour All-America Game

One Maryland signee, one Maryland pledge and a handful of 2026 targets are set to suit up in the Under Armour All-America Game on Thursday, set for 4 PM on ESPN2 at Spec Martin Stadium in Deland, Florida.

2026 five-star Immanuel Iheanacho headlines Team Icon where he’ll wear number 79 and line up at left tackle where he starred at Georgetown Prep as an underclassman into his junior season. The coveted top-ten prospect officially named Oregon as his leader with Georgia as number two, but buzz about Maryland’s chances continues to circulate as head coach Mike Locksley and his staff have made the blue-chip talent an early priority in the 2026 class.

“Maryland at the moment is in my top eight. I still want to keep everything modest, but having [Zion Elee] definitely motivates me more,” Iheanacho told IBG. “If everyone were to stay in Maryland, we’d be in the top five every year. everyone wants to go out to Penn State, Ohio State but getting a guy like me and Zion would just bring other high-impact guys in. Elee is a big boom for them.”

2025 Maryland signee Malik Washington headlines Team Unstoppable as one of quarterbacks on the team alongside 2026 DePaul Catholic (NJ) Derek Zammit and Texas signee KJ Lacey. Washington will team up with blue-chip tackle Jaylen Gilchrist, who will wear 75.

Washington isn’t the only one slated to play his college ball in College Park with 2026 five-star Zion Elee teaming up on Team Unstoppable, wearing number seven, though Maryland will have to fend off outside interest for the next year. Oregon and Ohio State are mentioned among the teams working to change Elee’s mind, though he and Iheanacho made their way to campus for an unofficial visit in late December six days after Elee announced his pledge to Maryland.

“Coach Aazaar has still been recruiting me well so things have been looking good so far,” Edwards told IBG.

Elee’s teammate, safety Jireh Edwards, will also suit up alongside Washington and Elee with Maryland among the schools under consideration for the St. Frances blue-chipper. Edwards told IBG he’s planning to visit Alabama in January and is working on scheduling a visit to Oregon with buzz that the Ducks are his top contender, but Maryland assistant Aazaar Abdul-Rahim has worked to change that.

Tavares (FL) top-100 prospect and LB Izayia Williams, who included Maryland in his top eight after a two-day visit to campus, will also suit up for Team Unstoppable.

Team “They were talking to me about the defense and how I can fit in, how I can be a playmaker and play early for them,” Williams said about the Terps’ efforts. “I really wanted to see more of the campus and facilities so I really loved checking out the indoor [facility].”
