Maryland football announced three key dates for their 2025 season, including a date set for homecoming weekend.
Maryland will kick off the home portion of its conference schedule on Oct. 4 vs. Washington, marking the first matchup between the two teams since 1982, and it will also serve as family weekend in College Park.
The Nov. 1 game vs. Indiana will serve as homecoming weekend. While the Terps are 8-5 all-time against the Hoosiers, Maryland has won five of their last six homecoming games including last season’s 15-point comeback to defeat USC, 29-28. Homecoming weekend will also serve as a reunion with former Maryland and current Indiana RB Roman Hemby set to return to College Park in his final season of eligibility.
Senior Day in College Park will come against Michigan on Nov. 22 as the program announced the game as Military Appreciation Day. Maryland is looking for its second-ever win against the Wolverines and its first since 2014, the program’s first season in the Big Ten.
Maryland is coming off its first non-bowl season since Mike Locksley’s first season as head coach, while VegasInsider.com posted a 6.5-game win total for 2025.
Maryland will kick off the 2025 season against FAU before hosting Northern Illinois and Towson. Maryland will also travel to Wisconsin, UCLA, Rutgers, Illinois and Michigan State while hosting Washington, Indiana, Michigan and Nebraska in Big Ten play.
