Maryland football is set to wrap up the 2024 season this upcoming weekend in State College and they’ll do so as hefty underdogs.
Entering Monday, Maryland is a 24.5-point underdog vs. Penn State with the over/under set at 50.5, per DraftKings.
Maryland is coming off their fourth consecutive loss after falling against Iowa, 29-13, to wrap up the home portion of the season at 3-4 overall. Penn State, who remained unchanged at fourth overall in Sunday’s AP poll, is coming off a 26-25 win at Minnesota to remain a one-loss team near the top of the Big Ten standings. Penn State is on track to make the College Football Playoffs in the first year of the expanded bracket, though Maryland will look to play spoiler as they look to pick up their third win in Happy Valley since moving to the Big Ten.
“As the leader of this thing, man, this is what my job is, is to figure those things out. And I'm more optimistic about being able to figure this out, man,” Locksley said after Saturday’s loss. “We're going to get it done.”
