Maryland football will close out its 2025 regular season indoors after the program announced its Nov. 29 season finale vs. Michigan State has been moved to Ford Field.

Kickoff time will be announced at a later date.

This marks the second game that Maryland has played at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions, after Maryland took on Boston College in the Quick Lane Bowl back in 2016. This will mark the third appearance at Ford Field for Michigan State after facing Penn State in 2013 and FAU in 2010.

Maryland has won its last two games in NFL stadiums, most recently in 2023 in the Music City Bowl following a 31-13 win vs. Auburn. Maryland also took down NC State, 16-12, in the 2022 Duke’s Mayo Bowl at Bank of America Stadium.

Michigan State leads the all-time series, 11-4, including last season’s 27-24 comeback win in College Park to kick off Big Ten play. Maryland won the previous two matchups prior to last season.

Maryland will kick off the 2025 season vs. FAU on August 30 before hosting Northern Illinois and Towson ahead of Big Ten play. Maryland will host Washington, Nebraska, Indiana and Michigan and travel to Wisconsin, UCLA, Rutgers and Illinois this fall.
